Working principle of HDPE Large Diameter Hollow Wall Wingding Pipe Extrusion Line:
Material Feeding & Preparation
High-density polyethylene (HDPE) raw material is automatically fed into the extruder hopper, with optional additives such as color masterbatch, UV stabilizers, or anti-aging agents for enhanced performance.
Extrusion & Melting
The material is heated, melted, and homogenized in the extruder barrel using a precision-engineered screw design, ensuring stable melt pressure and excellent plasticizing performance.
Spiral Profile Forming
The molten material is extruded into a continuous strip profile, which is guided into the spiral winding unit. Reinforcement ribs can be formed during this stage to increase pipe stiffness.
Hollow Wall Winding
The profile is spirally wound around a rotating mandrel, forming the hollow-wall structure. Precise temperature control and synchronized speed ensure strong bonding between layers.
Cooling & Shaping
The pipe is cooled through water spray or air cooling systems to stabilize dimensions and maintain structural integrity.
Cutting to Length
Once the target diameter and length are reached, an automatic cutting system accurately cuts the pipe to specification.
Final Inspection & Packaging
Finished pipes undergo quality checks for dimensional accuracy, ring stiffness, and appearance before being labeled, bundled, and prepared for shipment.
