Advantages of PE/PP/ABS/TPE Board Extrusion Line:
Precision Extrusion & Melt Control
The line features a high-efficiency single-screw extruder equipped with a specially engineered screw design. With an advanced mixing function and high plasticizing capacity, it ensures complete melting, uniform coloration, and a stable boost in output. For applications requiring ultimate accuracy, optional melt metering pump technology guarantees precise volumetric control and consistent extrusion pressure.
Advanced Die & Calendering Technology
A hanger-type die head with a unique double-throttle / variable throttle design allows for exceptionally accurate thickness adjustments. The three-roll calender is available in horizontal, vertical, or 45° inclined configurations, featuring flexible lifting capabilities. An independently controlled roller temperature system ensures uniform heating, resulting in perfect sheet flatness and consistent thickness distribution.
Unmatched Dimensional Accuracy
Precision is maintained through a ±1°C temperature control system, which strictly regulates the plasticization process to prevent thermal degradation. Sheet thickness is finely tuned via screw adjustment and bidirectional pressure wheel control, ensuring every board meets exact specifications. This meticulous control eliminates material waste caused by thickness deviations.
Smart Cutting & Winding Systems
The production line integrates a precision shear cutter with an automatic meter counter to ensure accurate cutting lengths. For sheet coiling, the system utilizes a four-axis winder powered by torque motors. With automatic tension control, operators can freely adjust the speed and tension to achieve tight, flat, and wrinkle-free winding.
Working principle of PE/PP/ABS/TPE Board Extrusion Line:
Automated Material Feeding & Compounding
The process begins with raw materials—such as PE, PP, PVC, or ABS pellets—being loaded into the hopper. At this stage, functional additives like color masterbatches, UV stabilizers, and processing aids are precisely dosed and mixed to meet specific product requirements.
Precision Melting & Homogenization
Materials gravity-feed into the high-efficiency single-screw extruder. Inside the barrel, the rotating screw performs a dual function: external heaters provide thermal energy, while shear friction generates internal heat. This ensures a complete and gentle plasticization, resulting in a perfectly homogeneous melt.
Filtration & Flat Die Forming
The molten polymer is forced through a screen pack and breaker plate, which filters out impurities and stabilizes the flow. It then enters the hanger-type flat die. Utilizing a unique double-throttle design, the die allows for pinpoint accuracy in thickness distribution across the entire width of the sheet.
Calendering & Precision Cooling
The hot extrudate moves directly into the three-roll calender (available in horizontal, vertical, or 45° configurations). The independently controlled roller temperature system (maintained at ±1°C) cools the sheet instantly, locking in dimensional stability and a superior surface finish. Thickness is finalized through screw adjustment and bidirectional pressure wheel control.
Trimming, Cutting & Winding
Side trimmers remove excess edges to achieve the desired width. The finished board is then processed based on thickness:
·Thick Boards: Cut to length by a precision shear cutter (equipped with an auto-meter counter) and conveyed to the stacker.
·Thin Sheets: Rolled by a four-axis winder using a torque motor, allowing for adjustable tension and speed to ensure wrinkle-free coils.
