Working principle of PVC Co-extrusion Foamed Board Line:
Raw Material Blending
PVC resin, foaming agents, stabilizers, plasticizers, and other additives are precisely weighed and thoroughly blended according to a preset formula. This ensures a homogeneous mixture, which is essential for stable downstream processing.
Multi‑Layer Co‑Extrusion
The prepared compound is fed into the co‑extrusion system. Inside the extruder, the material undergoes high‑temperature plasticization driven by the screw rotation, transforming the blend into a uniform melt ready for shaping.
Dynamic Foaming
At the die exit, the foaming agent is injected into the extruded melt. This triggers a rapid expansion process, forming a fine‑celled cellular structure within the PVC matrix.
Calibration & Cooling
The freshly foamed board enters a water‑cooling calibration unit, where it is rapidly quenched. This step locks in the cell structure, stabilizes dimensions, and prevents post‑processing deformation.
Cutting & Packaging
Once fully cured, the boards are automatically cut to specified lengths. They are then stacked, protected, and packaged to ensure safe delivery and convenient handling for end‑users.
